Bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of a licensing authority for the purposes of licensing workers carrying out certain activities in relation to construction work; to provide for the licensing of tutors providing certain training in relation to construction work; to provide for the establishment and maintenance of a register of licensees; to provide for the investigation and adjudication of complaints against licensees and responsible persons; to establish an appeals committee to determine appeals against certain decisions of the licensing authority; to designate the licensing authority to be the competent authority for the purposes of the European Union (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) Regulations 2017; and to provide for related matters.
