Corrections & complaints policy

Our commitment

Said and Done exists to present the official record of Dáil Éireann accurately. If anything on this site is wrong, we want to know, and we will fix it visibly.

How to raise a correction or complaint

Email corrections@saidanddone.ie with a link to the page concerned and a description of the issue. We acknowledge within 5 working days and aim to resolve promptly.

How we handle it

Every page links to its source document, with a cryptographic hash, so you can verify our record against what the Oireachtas published at ingestion time.

Data-subject requests

Requests under data-protection law are handled per our privacy notice: logged, acknowledged, and answered within one month (extendable by up to two months for complex requests, with notice). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request; the response period can pause while we do. Accurate parliamentary records are not removed on request; inaccuracies are rectified.

Public corrections log

All corrections to previously published site content appear in our public corrections log, with the date and nature of each change.
