I appreciate that but the Deputy must move on to the debate.

I must now deal with a deferred division relating to the ministerial amendment to the Second Reading motion on the Broadcasting (Oversight of RTÉ Accounts) (Amendment) Bill 2024. On the question, "That the amendment to the motion be made", a division was claimed, and in accordance with Standing Order 85(2), that division must be taken now.

Yesterday a division was called on the question: "That leave to introduce the Bill be granted." That division will now be taken.

The Bill is accordingly introduced. Since this is a Private Members' Bill, Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.
