Bill entitled an Act to enable the Commission for the Regulation of Utilities to direct that offers for connection to the electricity transmission and distribution systems be made subject to terms and conditions requiring that specified measures be taken for the purpose of avoiding, preventing, reducing, offsetting or abating greenhouse gas emissions or otherwise in furtherance of the national climate objective; for that purpose to amend the Electricity Regulation Act 1999; and to provide for related matters.
