I must now deal with a postponed division relating to the motion regarding restoration of Private Members’ Bill to the Order Paper. On Tuesday, 16 December 2025, on the question, "That the motion be agreed to", a division was claimed and in accordance with Standing Order 85(2), that division must be taken now.

As the gap between the votes is less than ten, given the importance of this matter, that this is about women's health and is about simply restoring a Bill to the Order Paper that already had passed Second Stage in the last Dáil, I am asking that we vote by means other than electronically. I ask people to look at their consciences and even shift from a "No".

Under Standing Order 88(3)(b), I propose that the vote be taken by other than electronic means.
